Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat died in Paris on Thursday of this week with his long time friend and terrorist supporter, Jacques Chirac in attendance. Arafat was kept alive with life support systems until his estranged wife sneaked into his room under the cover of darkness and pulled the plug from the wall.
Arafat's body was immediately flown to Egypt before his body deteriorated even further than it had in life. Dignitaries from all over the world attended an Egyptian funeral ceremony sponsored by the Cortislim company. Colin Powell, U.S. Secretary of State, did not attend because of a similar commitment he had with his proctologist that day.
After the funeral ceremony, Arafat's body was flown to Ramallah in the West Bank. Arafat's body was to be buried in the compund where he had spent the last three years of his life - writing checks to suicide bomber families. The helicopter carrying the body was engulfed by hysterical Palestinians. The vehicle used to move his body to it's final resting place could not move because of the mob pressing from all directions. To expedite the process, a bull dozer was called in to clear a path through the crowd.
When the coffin was finally placed in the compound, the crowd continued to
press each other against it shouting "God is Great! We wamt to see Yasser
Arafat!" Unbeknownst to the crowd, Arafat had made one last request before he
died. As the coffin was opened to the crowd for a last look, they were
surprised to find Arafat's body wrapped in high explosives. With the crowds
peering into the coffin, the explosives were detonated. Over 150 Palestinians
were sent to cavort with virgins while over 300 others wished they had.
